YBCA presents
R. Zamora Linmark, author of the best-selling novel Rolling The RΚΌs and poetry collection Prime Time Apparitions, will be reading from his latest collection of poetry, the just-published The Evolution of a Sigh, as well as new works, including scenes from the stage adaptation of Rolling The R's, which will have its world premiere in Honolulu in November at the Kumu Kahua Theatre.
Bio:
A recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, his prose, poetry, and essays have appeared in journals and anthologies in the U.S. and the Philippines. He is currently at work on another novel, a collaborative book project with Lisa Asagi, Justin Chin, and Lori Takayesu, and a one-man show called "You: A Curse In Progress."
Linmark divides his time between Manila and Honolulu.
This event is really exciting for me...I read Rolling the R's for a class in undergrad. Now I get to do an event with him! =)
